Upma is a popular South Indian breakfast made with Suji also called Bombay Rava. Curry leaves, green chilies, vegetables, lentils and tempering spices like mustard are used for seasoning. A squeeze of lemon in the end takes the flavour a long way. Upma recipes vary by region and preference but the preparation method remains the same. It is aromatic, delicious, filling and a fast dish that you can done up under 5 mins.

Direction to use:
Add water 1:3 or 4 based on your preference of consistency.
Add 400ml of water to a pan and bring it to a boil.
Add instant Upma mix to the boiling water.
Your piping hot Upma is ready in 2-3 minutes.
Serves 3-4 members.
(Incorporate the Instant Upma into the boiling water while continuously mixing, making sure no lumps are formed)
